My worst corn is always planted into a cold rain. Forecast for Northern Illinois is a cool weekend with a cold rain on Sunday....I'm waiting until that situation clears and then we'll get going. I was very tempted Saturday though.


+1 Still a bit cold at night. Had ice in the bird bath Sat. morning at Dad's. Not to say a guy shouldn't try a few acres but the WX isn't what I would call corn planting weather.
