Mid-Michigan | Around here (or at least for me) it is more about the condition of the ground (dry/no compaction) and the date. I know that the last weekend in April will bring warm weather soon. So, if the ground is dry, no matter the temp,, I plant starting the last weekend in April. Only about 50% of the time is the ground ready at that date however.
