Depends on the nozzles in use too. Classic flat fan sprays drift fog at 6 mph, air injected turbo teejets begin to drift at 15 mph. TeeJet's book showed plain turbotees good to 12 mph. I quit with TTI when the drift got me wet on an open tractor.

Lots have sprayed at 18 to 20 and affected the neighbor's crops, besides in tall corn one fellow was good at running down the crop because when the wind was leaning the corn he couldn't tell where the row was and sometimes it was under his tires. I've never hired him to spray my place.
