He'll not reach 2.72% K by adding K unless he loses some of the 97.8% Mg+Ca as K is the weaker bond. Besides, 35 units K2O is the removal rate for 140 bu corn. I wouldn't apply more than 150lbs. of Potash if it were me. Of course, that's a long way from here.
