Is this a popup fertilizer in furrow? I can see that helping even with striped tilled MAP. If this is 2x2 i'd drop the 10-34-0 and try using UAN as a part of your nitrogen program. If it is popup i would consider trying an expensive popup fertilizer on few acres. If that still doesn't pay forget it. Also this varies very much how cold your soils are at planting.
