Soil temp here about 40 as well. Lots of small grains going in, no corn though.
Soil temp is still dipping near freezing almost each night. Forecast here is mid forties to low fifties for the high and rain. A lot corn corn went in the last two days. Personally, I'm going to play it safe. I have a neighbor farmer, who I feel is successful, agrees with leaving it in the bag for now.
I will be interesting to see how the stuff that did go in comes up (or not). |
