NWND | I planted corn just 3 miles from the canadian border today,in ND. Granted it was only an acre or so, just to get the planter,working and my liquid fertilizer all going. Ground was sweet corn last year and had been rototilled last fall. Soil temp showed 55 but it is in a protected yard and ground was black. Average soil temp for area is about 40 right now but fields are still pretty sticky. Gonna be a week or so till we can start anything. | |
