Perry County, 35 miles NW of Harrisburg, PA | This morning at 9:30 I took my first soil temp of this spring. It was 45 degrees for those interested.
My question is: what is the standard time of day to be taking soil temp readings? Is there a standard time? Maybe the best time varies from one part of the country to another. I always try and take it at about 9 in the morning.
