| It is your choice, and without knowing your goal, it is hard to give a good solution. However if you want the best for the alfalfa seed, it needs to go on last, and only be crushed in. Anything over a quarter of an inch is too deep and you will be wasting the seed. Oats and any small seed will segregate and not be uniform. If you just want to throw it out............ | |
