NC | I tried real hard to get our local Dr office (that was moving) to go to a co-op system and stay.
They were all for it but couldn't get insurance to cover malpractice. SO Litigation is also a major roadblock to affordable healthcare.
We tried to set up a system where co-op member signed away their right to sue and left issues to a "board". The Dr was told that there was no way to control who could sue you, competent adults are not allowed to take on risks at their own responsibility..
Litigation is ruining our country on so many levels. | |
