North of London | I only convert when I feel it is necessary to check their conversion because I report in kgs/ha and hectares planted.
They claim their computers can not do metric, think they must be running Commadore 64's, so they pull out a calculator or chart and convert my numbers to 56 or 60 lb units applied to the old acre measurement to record my yield so when I think they may have an error to my disadvantage I check by converting it back to metric.
Found an error in my favour once and forgot to tell them, helped my yield reference but I still have never collected anything for a poor crop.
Keep wondering why I bother buying insurance.
Had a replant on some soys one year.
BTW we live 2.2 kms from the corner and everyone has an odometer in kms so makes no difference how many miles it was laid out in. | |
