nw mizz | How bad are they? Put a picture up and show us. If it were me I would try to get by the first year and make sure everything else on the baler works before I put that much money into an older baler. Belts aren't cheap and will run a long time even if they aren't pretty. Maybe just back the tension off a little. If the belts are poor be sure to check over the pickup area closely for bad bearings or cracked cams as likely the baler has seen a lot of use. Doesn't take long for a bad bearing in the pickup to really bend and break expensive things...been there done that with an older Vermeer baler. Good luck. | |
