Having trouble with a 454 electronic ignition irrigation motor running hot. No thermostat, timing set to 5 degree advance, had it on 12 advance still ran hot, checked plugs all gapped .043, new water pump, cooling tubes are fine. Good compression. Out of ideas anyone have other thoughts? Thanks!
