Take the seed back and get rounds, mediums are best but PDRs will work two.

Then beg, borrow, or steal a White 6000/8000 series meter and have those seeds tested using your plates on a Meter Max stand. You will be surprised by the difference that makes. Last year we had our meters running at 99.5% singulation on the stand and it showed us that we needed to use the Small Corn Plate and not the Medium we had been using.

We will get our meters back tomorrow, but when I spoke with the dealer he said that we had to go back to the medium plate on two of our hybrids this year because of the difference in seed sizes.
