Not to be argumentive, but the whole theory of ESN is that a fella can put all there N on up front and not have to worry about it volitizing. Its claim is that there will be some N released early from the strait Urea and some late from the ESN. If I was doing a plot comparing ESN to AA I would put all the U and ESN on ahead of planting,and work it in. And then I would use the AA side dress.
