Subject: Follow-up question regarding gas line coming through our farm

SE PA
Thanks to all who responded to my earlier post regarding the potential gas line coming through our farm. http://talk.newagtalk.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=469440&mid=381...
Based on what i've heard from you all and others who have contacted me directly, there is strong agreement that i need to get a lawyer in order not to be taken advantage of. It's almost unanimous that there will be long lasting scars in farmland- how much is that worth? There seems to be huge disparity between what one property owner may be compensated vs what the neighbor may be compensated based on what others have experienced. My question is: Should i prepare to represent my own interests or would it be advantageous to rally my neighbors so we all get treated fair? If i help rally the neighbors, where does it stop? adjoining landowners, the whole township, the county, or the whole 144 mile pipeline?
