North Central Illinois | Life wasn't horrible. I was 17 years old. Yes farming was pretty good at the time but I wouldn't trade it for now either. Sucking up dirt and chemicals and going deaf from tractors without cabs doesn't make me all warm and fuzzy and yearning for the good old days. One thing I will agree on is that it was much easier and made a lot more sense to buy land back then. Not many did though for the same reason guys don't now. | |
