I wouldn't say we have had ideal growing conditions the last week or so but the winter peas have finally took off growing. I was beginning to think the henbit and other winter weeds were going to choke them out but as I have seen twice before the peas look as it they will choke the competition out. The field with the rye in it has been sprayed with clethodim so the rye should really slow down in a few days.
