I'm with the others. If it has moisture, be patient. Temps have been below normal, and slowed it down.

I'd give it at least two weeks. If you do decide to kill it (and I doubt you will), you can roll it into beans very quickly, so seems to me you have little to lose by giving it a chance.

Also, unless something wonderful happens, the wheat crop in the southern plains will be short this year.
