Subject: RE: Wheat after freeze..........

Weatherford, OK
The trouble here is, so much wheat is already blue and even brown it'shard to imagine it having enough life left in it to be lost to the freeze. Looked at the Mesonet yesterday. The last 180 days, 4 inches and every station to the northwest from here was less. The notable exception is Beaver in the panhandle where a small strip has had 4.9, now that is unusual. I know that wheat is lost more than once before it makes, but I have never seen dead wheat come back to life. I know it is Easter but I don't think a lot of this stuff can be resurrected.
