central South Dakota | I'm in central SD, mine looked far worse last year. Most folks killed theirs off and planted corn, I left mine and put inputs into it as if it was a great crop, got 65 bu. yield out of it. I think nursing it and nurturing it made a difference. Those are choices that intrigue me. Whether to hold off on fertilizer and other inputs because the yield potential seems limited...... Or pour on the inputs to help it excel....? | |
