Split some stems. The head should appear whitesh green in this stage. It'll be turgid and crisp. If is a water soaked dark green, looks like you dipped it in boiling water, its frozen. I agree with above posts, it shouldn't be hurt, and at worst would be 10% tillers lost.

This was a weird freeze here. Corn I expect to have a plant froze back to the ground while plant adjacent is fine, but the wheat..........tillers I thought would freeze at 30 are fine and some I thought could take down to 24-26 are done. Go figure?
