Woodham, Ontario | My 2011 7230R had fuel problems last year during planting, it has the 9.0L engine too. Short on power and low fuel pressure warnings. They spent hours messing around with it in the field and replaced the low pressure pump. Nothing helped. Brought it to the shop and they got me another tractor to continue planting with. The problem was that the hose that sucks the fuel from the fuel tank had a small hole in it and was leaking inside the fuel tank so not enough fuel made it to the engine.
It is a very early 7R has been split twice to do preventative updates to the IVT transmission and other than the fuel problem last year, it has been a fantastic tractor for us. Has 1960 hours now. | |
