I would take the $ amount you would spend on stabilizer and just add that much $ worth of 28%. If you lose a little you got some extra out there, but if you don't lose it you my make more bushels.
That is "here" on my farm in the middle of Michigan, not sure where you are or if that is the the right thing for you.
