Peat based inoculants work well and are an economical product when applying in the seed box. If you are getting treated beans, and your seedsman is doing the treating, they should be able to add the inoculant at the same time. We have not added inoculant for a couple of years since we buy pre treated and inoculated in bulk bags. The bacteria you are looking for is Bradyrhizobium japonicum.
