So it hasn't emerged yet? If so, it should be alright but obviously not the best for it. We had a couple inches of snow on ours last year for a few days and it was the best corn we had. 

As long as your frozen crust didn't make it to the growing point and stay there for a bit you're ok. (it shouldn't have based on what you've posted)
