Put the container of your potting soil in a WARM place, such as in your house by a window that gets sunlight. Cover the container with clear plastic wrap to prevent drying out the soil. Best way though, is placing seeds between several layers of wet paper towels in a shallow pan , also covered with plastic wrap. The warmer the temperature , the quicker it sprouts. Ever notice that very early planted corn takes a long time to come up and June planted corn is up in four days? Warm makes the difference.
