sw corner ia. | if a waterway is filling with dirt then land above the waterway is eroding way too fast. a waterway is not a maintenance free device and must be cleaned from time to time. I would say that terraces need to be introduced into this equation. if the runoff is from your neighbor above you, buy a scraper and save his dirt. I live about 30 miles south of you and we have to have terraces all the way to the bottom of the hill or gullies will be enormous. | |
