Sand, silt and clay.  If the silt-size particles are moving would not the clay particles as well since they are even smaller?  So, OK, you don't have gullies.  But you are still loosing your nutrient base topsoil, which is a no no.  That leaves me with the same mindset as "Just saying"!  (Not trying to pick a fight, but maybe this is why some hilly land should not be tilled....???)
