NE, Oklahoma | 36" oil line going across land on a friend of mine. He and some others tried to stop it, no avail, this started about a year ago, today the line is 2/3 done. What a mess, it went slant ways across two large fields, he has never signed a paper one, but they condemded the land and pushed on. Yes lawyers and large amounts of money involved but still no avail. My dad told me when I was very young, you think you own the land you bought and lived on all your life, don't pay the taxes or fight gov. and you will see who owns the land. After seeing what took place here I now know what he met. I feel for any one having to deal with this type of thing. Also all bystanders think your getting rich with pay from pipe line or wind farms etc. nothing could be farther from the truth. | |
