Have a 99 8300 and a 01 8410, biggest differences, the implement management system, which I never use anyways. Seat is better in 10 and better air circulation in the 10, the 00 you just stay comfortable, but never will freeze you out like the 10 will. The 10s will burn more fuel. But most JD techs will tell you the 10s best tractor JD ever built. Both of ours have between 7150-7650 hrs, been very trouble free and expect them too be around till well over 10k hrs.
