Cecil,Wis | I've had a wireless fence for 3 years and it works great. mine is called Pet Stop. put in by a dealer that sells them and trains your dog, all included in the price.
he put flags all around the fence, about 12' apart for the first week . then takes out 1/3 of the flags the next week. another 1/3 the next week and leaves the rest up for 2 weeks. the range is set at 10' which is 5' on each side of the wire and also 5' above the ground.
they guy said there isn't a dog he can't train to stay in the fence.
I just got a new pup, she's 5 months old and I trained this one myself. it works great | |
