Was not the law until the courts were loaded including a former monsanto lawyer on the Supreme Court. Plant Variety Protection Act was the law of the land.
I'm not singling out monsanto. Bayer, DuPont, Syngenta, all of them.
Except we're not talking about plant varieties. We're talking about patented innovations in those varieties. Patents have been protected going back to the middle ages. Again, you are making a false comparison - plant varieties to patented inventions. Has nothing to do with some imangined, sinister "loading" of the courts. |
