Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Some folks don't trust any on-line backup service. Those services all claim your data is secure with them, but then we read that another 50 million credit card accounts have been hacked and identities may have been stolen. For those folks, installing your own "big data" storage may be the answer.

High capacity Network Access Storage (NAS) units are available at reasonable cost and are easy to install on your local network. Then your data never gets stored on clouds out there in www backup service land and its security is totally in your hands. Attached pic shows data storage capacity for a raid 5 NAS recently installed on my local network.
