SWIL | I have seen your problem also. I may get flamed for this but I believe a couple things help this. It may have been really wet when the ammonia was applied. Kind of a smearing of the knife. I like to get the nh3 on well before the planter helps it to break down and move out a little. I also like to add some 32 percent to my pre emerge herbicide to give the corn a little n to help it grow so it can reach the nh3. Is this possibly a really tight soil? Like gumbo? | |
