Mid-Missouri | I strongly believe the nh3 was even across the toolbar...or not a factor for what is shown in the picture. The lacking nitrogen is shown across all 17 nh3 shanks when applied in the middle of the corn planter.
I can't recall the exact conditions of the planter but think it went like this.
Spring applied nh3 a couple weeks before planting, possibly in wet conditions.
Planted in very nice pretty dry conditions following the field cultivator.
A few days after planting, received near record rainfall for two days. | |
