You hit the coverage issue on the head. Most people want to argue that the only way to get coverage is to increase water and they disregard everything else to achieve higher rates. In reality it is as you said, getting more droplets on each plant is the way to get coverage. I run AIM command, but I do not use it how the "experts" say I should. In my opinion the Wilger nozzle is the second worst nozzle I have ever run so mine are where they belong, somewhere in a landfill. I have also ran AI nozzles with AIM on over 40K acres with no problems, even though I was told it wasn't possible. I am currently running the old school flat fan and love it. In this area it seems the quality of spray jobs went to crap when all the AI, low drift, droplets the size of BB's rage started up. The drift control is excellent but the kill is terrible. IMO.
