Freezing seed is not a problem at all with any seed. Many seeds need to go through a vernalizing and
that is a cold period to stabilize the seed germ. before the next growing period.
For most here who plant a garden, the best place to store leftover seed is in your freezer to hold
the germination and quality !
I like the idea of doing a germ test with the kids.
