I'll be the lone dissenter. I'm 38 so have seen country music change from Garth Brooks/Reba/Allan Jackson to the current crew of "stars". Have to say I enjoy the current ones more than the ones I listed. And I would change the radio station if Merle Haggard, George Jones, etc came on. Can't stand the old country/western music. Everyone has different tastes. All genres of music slowly change over time. Doesn't make it better. or worse. But it still is country music.
all of you complaining about current country music sound like the farmers wishing for the good old days of 4020's and 95 JD combine combines while driving your autosteered S690's w/ 40' hydraflex drapers.
Each to their own. I listen to more country music now than I did 10 years ago. there are a lot of good artists currently.
