Cedar Rapids, Iowa | The Serial Port Profile (SPP) is the Bluetooth profile used for serial data. A Bluetooth device can support other profiles as well, although there is little reason to have other profiles on a device that only does serial.
If you have a computer with Windows, it should also be able to connect to it and then to your receiver. That would allow you to confirm the pinout. Also, you can turn on GGA messages on the receiver to confirm that you can get data from it on the phone.
Maybe try a different baud rate between the receiver and Bluetooth device. Anything from 9600 to 115200 should work. | |
