Bancroft IA | I have been trying to connect to a 372 receiver with lance's program on a Samsung (Verizon) tablet going through a Brainbox Bluetooth adapter. I have set up the antenna and can get it to connect using a Netbook and the desktop version so I know the antenna/receiver is set up to receive properly. Right now I am just using a manual location to get one problem solved before adding another issue. I am able to connect to the Bluetooth device with the Lefubure client software and I am receiving data from the CORS network as indicated on the tablet. But for whatever reason, it is not making it to the antenna. The baud rate is setup as 38400 8N1 just like the desktop version and the receiver. I have verified it is that on the Bluetooth device as well. However, when I connect the brain box to the setup utility with a desktop computer, it states it's actual baud rate is 38308. I have no way to change it to exactly 38400 and do not know weather that matters any way. It also states in the Bluetooth utility software that the Bluetooth device communicates via serial port profile. Am I correct to assume that if the Bluetooth device supports serial port profile, and the tablet connects to the Bluetooth device that the tablet thus supports it too? Any way to check a serial port profile setting on a droid? I have tried flipping pins 2 and 3. I have searched this site but am not coming up with anything. I am certain it is something simple I am overlooking. Any suggestions?
