Nwmo
I use orifices every time I use a visigauge or wilger, I never make my hoses all the same length. However I usually put a tee jet check valve at the unit and put the orifice in there rather than in the wilger. So in essence the hose length after the orifice is the same. As long as the hose is sized properly you really shouldn't have to much resistance with the longer runs at least not compared to what the orifice is slowing it down to begin with.
