Subject: A question for NVDave

Little River, TX
I understand you do not like to fly commercial and in that I agree.

I understand, at one time you took flying lessons. Do you have a Private Licence? Have an instrument ticket to go with it?

I ask because when I was part time instructing about 10 miles west of Fort Worth there was an Airline Captain who lived in Fort Worth but his job was at LAX. He had a Cessna 210 with extra tanks plus oxygen. He could leave his house in Fort Worth, Drive out to Parker County AP, and fly to LAX at 180 knots and get at work quicker than flying on an airliner out of DFW.

For you and your field altitudes a supercharger might be nice. Be able to pull 28 inches of manifold pressure up to 10,000 to maybe 12,000. Be nice to have full horsepower for takeoff and climb in the mountain states.
