East Central Indiana | We are currently running a Raven Cruizer II with accuboom and Raven 4400 for rate control.
I would like to switch to one single unit to use for guidance and rate control. Sprayer is an Apache 710 so it does not have integrated hydraulic steering capabilities but having the option to run some sort of auto steer would be nice.
The Cruizer II does an ok job but it is a nightmare getting things done in the correct order with the 4400.
I'm sure something has been wrong from the get go with the set up but in order to spray both units must be turned on in a specific sequence and then in most cases shut off and rebooted between each field. The classic run your belly and pat your head while jumping rope situation.
I'm trying to simplify things so more than one person on the farm can spray.
So would easiest route be to trade in the Cruizer II and 4400 on an Envizio pro since we already have the accuboom module for a raven product?
Whatever unit we purchase will be dedicated to the sprayer.
I'm open to all suggestion but don't need something that will do more than I need. Since it will be designated to the sprayer I don't need an Integra type monitor. | |
