North Central, South Dakota | This is my first time tackling this and running into some problems i just can't seem to figure out. Everything I got was used and I wanted to do RTK but didn't want to break the bank doing it. I have a AgGPS 214 received and using a Zephyr Geodetic antenna, I believe the receiver is pretty similar to a MS750 but it only output up to 10hz and the 750 does 20hz? but truthfully I have no idea and I couldn't even tell you how you can tell if it's a base model or a rover unit. I think i got it setup correctly as far as a base goes it comes up with autobase on the display but I had to do the express autobase method I thought i could just enter in the data on the computer and it would work but I can't seem to get it to work. I was able to upgrade the firmware to the 1.59 version so it is communicating with my computer fine. I have a cable for both ports but only used one. I'm using the configuration toolbox to set it up but I believe i'm having problems with getting it to output something that will work for me. I selected the output cmr on Port A 1 but dont think it's outputting that because when i set up to output on port b 1 or 2 i have nothing.
So that is my first problem so not sure if i need to use a different cable and that's my problem or if there is something else that I need to be doing.
I'm trying to output it to the lefebure ntrip caster/server that portion I think i have figured out since I can get my caster and client to talk to one another and years ago i studied computer networking so port forwarding and all that is something that I understand.
Where i want my signal to go to is a 252 antenna
I think i have that setup correctly but i'm not sure about that either my dgps is setup for RTK and backup i choose none. Port A is setup for tsip for in and out and port b is set up for rtklnk on the input and output was nema baud rate was all the same. port c was setup the same as b. I'll be honest there is a few sections in the agremote area for the 252 i just don't know what they mean like the t2 mapping for waas.
I made the cable to go from port b to my serial to bluetooth adapter and well i think i have that all working but i'll let you know what i did. I think if you want to use port b you would use pins 2 and 3 for signals and if you use port c you use pins 6 and 8 for signal and 5 is your ground for either?
Now i'm too far away to use a cors network but I have access to Iowa's and well with everything connected my cmr can get up to 99% so i think i have that portion working maybe? but I never get rtk differential i'm assuming since i'm far away and i just setup manual location for my ntrip client somewhere in the state.
Please help! I've read all i can read and now i'm down to trial and error and i'm coming up with just more errors |
