Pasco WA. | This is my first year with vr with the FMX. My FMX runs the seed and fertilizer. Fertilizer is fixed rate, just varying the seed. My tech told me that as long as seed is in position 1 it will work fine. If its in position 2 the prescription will have to have two layers. What is sounds like is you need to have a prescription made with two layers and make sure they are in the proper order. Your other option would be to setup the Field IQ with the product that is being varied in position 1.
I planted the border rows last night and it was pretty neat watching the seeding rate change in different soil types. | |
