Subject: 8420 plug & play, not working well with FM1000

Huntley Montana

New setup. RTK FM 1000.  sometimes will hold line @ 1350 rpm, hates faster RPM.  Unconnected 2 wires to the JD front wheel sensor as per Trimble. wants to wander side to side a LOT & will get 2-3' offline easy, esp at 1600-1800 rpm. Lines show right. Will show off line.  Have the Trimble front wheel sensor.

Had my Mechanic play with it this afternoon & he thinks it's JD's front wheel " hyd sensor" with a "sticky valve".

I'm about ready to take all the Deere steering off & install a Trimble platform.  Just spent 6 hrs" playing with it", having to drive it manually to the lines 1/3 of the time as it would side to side 2-4'.  Once in a while it will work good, but 3/4 of the time it's madding.

Where should we look?
