I had that happen once after the customer loaded his data from Apex, I had to perform a factory reprogram to get it back, thought it was a fluke deal but after I loaded his info it removed the section control icon again, another factory reprogram to restore section control, we then reloaded his Apex data on a different USB stick and it worked fine, our conclusion was that the USB had something corrupted so it went in the garbage.
