| What the above replies don't mention, is that these instructions are for an Ez-Pilot System, not an FM750. It can be connected to an FM750 or FM1000.
The procedure for connecting a remote engage switch to an Ez-Steer or Autopilot differ from this, as they connect directly to the Steering Controller, not the Display, as with an Ez-Pilot system.
If your JD8335RT is fitted with an Ez-Pilot, then this will work. If it is fitted with an Autopilot, you would normally connect directly to the Nav. Unfortunately, with Deere's CAN System, you can only engage using the button in their armrest. Normally you can use the Engage button on the Display as well, but not with these. There's no way to connect an external engage switch, unless you connect directly into the wiring in Deere's armrest. | |
