That should answer my question that it won't work to set up folders to make up a client list with all field names before hand so you can just select them instead of trying to type them in on the monitor to save time. I will need SMS or farmworks to do that. Would SST be able to do that?
I am not 100% sure on SST although I have played with it some. SST seems very time consuming to set up fields and growers in. If I remember right just to look at data or pretty much do anything you have to create a field boundary first.
I think your biggest bang for your buck will be SMS. It is simple to use and does almost anything it sounds like you would want it to do, and it is easy to "operate". I use ADMS (GK Tech) for 100% of my prescription writing and zone creation and probably 75% of my yield mapping. I use SMS for all of the general housekeeping on all of the various brands of displays. |
